hi everybody,
im felix from germany and i came to the sunny coast to finish high school. i love freestyle and wave windsurfing, is there anybody else in the noosa area that i could share some sessions with? ive read about the qld freewave association thing, sounds good! is there gonna be something like state titles in freestyle and wave? i used to compete in the german freestyle battles, its soo much fun would be good to see something like that over here too!

Welcome Felix, there are a number of guys on this forum that can give you a hand who are into wave surfing and freestyle, Good luck and have fun. Im way off being able to do anything like that for now.

We have just recently setup the QLD Freewave, and are having the next catchup down at the Gold Coast in Dec at this stage. This is a new association which is aimed at promoting freestyle and wave in QLD, so there will be freestyle sessions happening very soon.

Otherwise, I am based in Brisbane but sail up at the Sunshine coast a lot, and am always keen to catch-up with people and go freestyling. Send me a PM and I will shoot your my mobile no. to organise a sail.
