I was hoping for a return to the old weather patterns we had when we used to sail at the train together. I can't remember many weekends we didn't sail and I only had a 4.5, 5.4 and a 6.5 in the quiver. The seabreeze was almost a given. For many years now the wind has been more likely to drop off in the afternoons than lift. I was hoping for a season this year where the 5.4 sail and the 83 liter board got more use than the 8.8 sail and 122 board.

Not as strong as last year's. I bet there's good sailing just around the corner. In fact isn't today the third day of sailable wind in a row?

"I bet there's good sailing just around the corner."

Fingers crossed - I was actually hoping for a cracking year and hope the slow start is just that and we get a great season from here in.

Can't believe I missed yesterday and today, just saw Richie's update at 1.00pm saying it was 20knots.

Damn work.
