Special thanks to QLD's Leo Sharp, who flew down to compete in the best event of the season. He was a serious contender for winning, but had to settle for 3rd.. Still not bad for only his 2nd Formula event huh...

Plans are being made to have the Formula Nationals in a venue that will be as enticing as possible to the QLD racers...

Do you have to have a PFD on in your race series?

The chap in green doesn't seem to have one on?

Mandatory for us up here in QLD to race with and after one or two very unfortunate events....a very good idea too.

Floatation device is required in NSW if you sail more than 400m offshore.
I believe that is so the wave guys don't have to wear them in the surf, where it could be potentially dangerous.
