Heyyy Windsurfers of Goldcoast!
I'm a windsurfer and I was wondering where the local spots are? Unfortunately, I left my kit back down in Sydney, but does anyone know where I could hire/borrow kit from? It's been pretty windy lately.....

Always a few out at the following spots
Wavesailing: Currumbin
Flat water/freestyle: the Broad water

Next 2 days should be great at currumbin if the rain stays away (it kills the wind).check out my gallery to see what to expect.

Gear: surf fx (at bundall)

welcome to the Gold Coast, if your sailing the broad water you can go to the old train at the end off Smith st on a south easter or Central st on a north easter and if it is south head to Shearwater esplanade. There will always be somebody out. I would let you use some of my gear but i'm away working sorry.
Have fun and get a sail in for me.

Welcome to the windsurfing community here in Queensland. There isn't really anywhere that hires gear that I am aware of but you may be lucky and get a bite on some loaner gear. Hopefully your kit won't take long to get here because we seem to be getting an early start to the season. Lets hope it is a sign of things to come...
