I have a TC SPACER 3.6 meter windsurfer that i have not used for many years, and want to sell. I advertised it on Gumtree, but the first caller, when he looked at it pointed out something that I should know, but had forgotten.

There must be a piece missing from the assembly, as it seems impossible for the outfit to operate unless there is some sort of flexible connector between the mast and the block in the board.

When we shook the mast a small cylindrical piece fell out, obviously broken off of the missing piece.

Do you have any idea if that piece or a replacement for it is still available, and where I might find it?

If not, perhaps the whole set up must be junked, what a shame as all the rest is in fine condition.

Any help or suggestions you may be able to make are much appreciated.

Ron, it can be fixed. But will cost 50 dollars in parts plus time and effort.
I have done three of these recently.
You may want to think about reducing the price and let the new owner get it fixed.
any of the sailboard shops will have the parts. I can send you some pictures of what I did if you like but not till I get back to the lake in two weekends time.

Often repairing these old girls costs more than the sale price!

Yep Surf FX will fix it for you and more often than not you will come away with a random piece of antique furniture too.
