Bayside Sailboards presents:

The Moreton Bay GPS Competition 2015-2016

This is a local based competition that will run over the course of a sailing season (1 September 2015 – 31 March 2016).

People can sail at any time within Moreton Bay and upload their sessions/times to gps@baysidesailboards.com.au.

The winners will be acknowledged and presented with trophies at the end of the season.

Entry to the competition is free and open to Bayside club members and members of affiliated clubs, linked to Windsurfing Queensland. Ie WindWanderers, Brisbane Windsurfing club etc.

There will two divisions based on weight (<80kg and >80kg).

Winners will be calculated by best overall results from six different GPS captures (2 sec, 5 *10, 1 hour, alpha 500, nm, and distance travelled).

Sailing must be in Moreton Bay (Southern border will be Victoria Point - Redland Bay, Northern Border will be Woorim - Bribie Island).

LOL! Yes there are certainly many local hotshots that could take the title! and Vando is one of them.

Who will be King or Queen of the Bay?

Remember there are two divisions so the light weights will have a chance too!

Bayside will provide monthly updates so everyone can see where they are ranked in relation to others, and who has the best times/alphas/distance/etc, so you know what you have to beat!

I recon I can get down to 79.9kg by 1st Sept....

same here steve , I only have to drop 25kg and I'm there so watch out

That's 80kg with harness etc

We'll need to appoint someone to be the " Weight And Nominal Course Adviser" to keep track of (get it?) sailors weights and sailing areas.
This person would be the official competition WANCA.....
