Yep, windy and rainy. Have to wear the sunnies so the rain doesn't sting the eyes.

Checked it out this morning from the point. Looks pretty good. Will need to dredge a floater to the end of the rock wall though. Not down the river, although this would work on an outgoing tide, but off the spit as per usual. Swell is breaking across the bay and it's pretty clean.

tomorrow could be a great wavesailing day there, big E swell and strong E gives good waverides behind that wall (only works once in a blue moon)

Hi Tim, I didn't, sail that day but on the weekend. A sup with mast insert would work well or an original style windsurf board. I was on a tyronsea 350. A short board would just be a bit tricky.

yeah I see your point there.

I was thinking the waves off the main beach might be a chance in a NE swell but come to think of it never seen anyone go there they are always out on the reefs.

Thanks Bryan...I would have thought you would be OK to dog it out on big waveboard as at least you won't have to run the gauntlet of getting crunched on the banks going out which is the issue up at Noosa either going across the bar or launching between the groynes. Cyclone season is well and truly past now though so will have to wait for next year.
