At wello, quite west and low with a bit of rain about. Quite dismal if I'm honest but a learner just went out on the inside with a 5.3 and 101 and is planing on and off. Lots of rain on the radar so I think I'll join him on a 6.6 and hope it kicks later.
Was awesome between 10.30 and now, just becoming patchy now buy hoping to have another session after lunch. Very impressed with the new fanatic freewave 105. It's been a while since I've felt so at home on a board strait out of the box and the straps are like an old leather lounge.
Mast high cross offshore session at twin waters. Hectic to say the least. Many attempts to get out of back but once you did it was worth it! Nice to get some down the line on the sunshine coast
Wow how good was that? I was the first one out at Wello. Awesome runs on the way back in. Sailed for a couple of hours, and then second session on the eastern side on the speed bank. What a great spot! When I came in I counted over 25 sailboards out there. Nice. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as well. Oh and nice to meet you scott
Just home and showered... that's what happens when you live in the outer western suburbs Had an awesome time. Thanks Scott those tips you gave me the other day really helped. Putting two foot straps out wider on the back and leaning more on the rail finally I am starting to manage steering on the plane and not heading down wind all the time. Had some epic catapults and thanks to the guy who came over to see if I was alright.
That was awesome ... so many Windsurfers out there!! Happy that I didn't collide with anyone; didn't have my contact lenses with me, glasses not good with salt water ... so I had to go out 'blind' ;-)

Nice to meet you murrarie, wouldn't have guessed you have only sailed one summer, you rocked and had a good long sail. Thanks for being my Guinea pig, I would have put a 6.6 up if you hadn't gone out first. 5.4 was perfect all day. You'll have to get I to the racing next season, it will help your gybes no end.

Well done with the straps. You'll find that you can ask just about anyone for tips and they will be happy to help. We are lucky to have such a friendly bunch of sailers here in qld.
