Hi Guys. Could you bayside regulars venture an opinion on the question, Is there a point at which you would not go to the rock wall Manly on low tide? I ask this question because the wind looks good for tomorrow afternoon but the tide will be too low at Victoria Point by the time I knock off work. I have never sailed Manly but have watched on occasion when visiting family. Thanks in advance.
It is a short walk from the steps to get to fin-deep water. Other option is to walk down the rocks (if you are game) and launch inside the harbour as there is a patch of sand at the bottom of the break-wall at low tide, but you need shoes and be steady footed.
Thanks for the heads up guys. It is easy access down a few stairs just as you said, then the bay is open to you. Great place in a falling tide. Even got some tuning tips from Simon and met Tony from Sandstone Sailors.
