I have located and marked the keel hazard. Thanks Steve. It's sharp and dangerous.About 400 metres NNW of the end of the Manly lead channel. I have tied a bright yellow foam buoy to it for now. Stay away. 3 meters of floating rope .Will try to salvage after Easter.

It might be the fin off the back of Leo's formula board?

That's what I thought! looks like only a small keelboat. Good that you have marked it.

Nice work Rich. Any update on this biatch?
Could be from a trailer sailor - they have some amount of righting ability with the keel up so maybe the same or a bit less with it removed.

Went out on Tuesday to remove it but it appears to be gone. Lots of police and marine parks boats out over Easter. Maybe they saw it and removed it. Maybe someone salvaged it for the lead. I'll check later this week (when the tide is low low) to make sure.

I heard it belongs to a Sportsboat (small yacht) called Gangster.

Thanks Rich. Hopefully it is gone and not just laying over on it's side.
