Congrats to Mark for hitting a stunning 39,48kts which is a spot record for the easten side of wello and still to mention that he was on his slalom gear ..- which was his F2 SX small , 6.7 NP RSR EVO 1 , 31cm SL9.....

Mate that is a great effort and mate you deserve to get pampered ...

Mate get well soon and next time try not to crash

That's very impressive.
I mentioned the sort of speeds on the table, incuding Pierre's Burrum NM to the pros I was talking to on Maui, and they were pretty impressed.
It's easy to forget that the speed record was only 44kts a decade ago. That puts this into perspective a bit.
Before anyone corrects me, I didn't read a magazine for 10 yrs, so maybe not EXACTLY 10 years ago.

err thanks guys, annoyed my day ended early- everything felt fantastic, definitely a few more knots left in that combo

Heaps indebted to the kiter & friend that helped me carry my gear in, next time I wont forget impact vest

I'm starting to think 40 knot run is just teasing me

Haggar I wish I had a video, it'd be easier than explaining why i cant work and why they should give me windy days off

Dave yer it's starting to wear a little thin, but what can you do- just focus on next time.
