Hi guys. I started to live in Cleveland QLD recently and found Mason's beach when it is full tide would be a spot to launch. Has anyone done the same? I am planning to sail from there tomorrow. Anyone sail along?

Recently went for fish n chips at the lighthouse, and think I saw this sign just south of the point on the eastern side of the road.

Is that the place you're thinking?

not sure about that location. can be rocks below the water line. probably worth checking out at low tide.

in a northerly some people go to Point Halloran. it's only 20 minutes south

Hi Gestalt. I've never been to Mashead Beach. Is it a good place to launch? Suppose it is a sandy beach and best at North Easter wind?

Yes this is the place. Just because this is the closest place from where I live. I live just around the corner.

Yes I checked it. It hasn't got any big rocks but mud and fossiles & small rocks until 100m from the shore. in full tide, the fin would not touch the bottom. 2pm high tide today. Start sailing 1 to 3pm would be great I reckon.

I ended up to Musthead, a little beach. just about hop on the board, U base was teared detaching the rig from the board. I would come back this beach though.

If anyone knows where is the shop I can buy Ubase around here?
