1015. Just got to wello. Wind from the west at 20kts. Fairly consistant. Maybe more in the gusts. White caps everywhere. See you when you get here

Nice to see three of the Gold Coast crew making the Wello pilgramidge, its wasnt to bad, had to rig big to enjoy most of it 6.7m plus would be the go.............I hear there was nothing on the Gold Coast

you guys do realise the freestyle sailors were on 5.7m sails, 24cm fins and planed longer than anyone else.

22cm fin, 5.7m sail and 100L board... thats all you need! unfortunately i'm a fatass at 75kg now damn those sub 70kg guys haha

Geez mate thats a big call given pierre was planing almost all of the time, and so was i between flopping in at gybes (been belted with the unco stick lately ).

obviously you cant compare a 100kg person on a 5.8 to a 70kg person on a 5.7... I did see an orange ka come flying in one time, I rubbed my eyes then realised it was someone else

hmm wonder if antoine can get planing in 15knots on a 5.8?
