Hi kids, after a windsurfing hiaitis for the past 18 months I am considering hitting the waves again.

Off to see my buddies tomorrow at Surf Fx to get the low down.

It was good to take a break, but I am so stoked to think of getting back into it!

On that, and studying the local coast, to me it looks like my favourite surf beach Cabarita is ideal cross shore with a NE seabreaze, check it out, Im thinking of that being my main hangout. Comments??

I live at Casuarina, and I'm keen to sail at Caba/Cas.
09/10 was a cracking NE season, but you've missed very little since. Bugger all at the southern Goldie since last Xmas, except for the odd day here and there.
Mind you, when it's been on, it's been ON !!
I have a few weeks off form next week, and I'm looking forward to sailing a lot.

hey lads, yeah kiting, I have the gear, just do not have the time to hit the right combo to learn, that is time and conditions, so based on that, i am missing out on a lot of good days of just going sailing, and like anything in life distance makes the heart grow fonder!

I actually do miss the feeling of hitting a ramp, and pulling a sweet carve!

Whether I keep my kiting kit or not is questionable at the moment.

I will try to reignite an interest in the ocean with others, as I had done in the past with the little gatherings at Mermaid or Nobbies. maybe down at Cabarita can be the new home.
