I've been hunting through the BOM site trying to find some historical analysis of wind strengths and directions for Redcliffe. I'm not sure if this is even available. I found wind the roses for Brisbane, but surely there musts be a way of accessing Redcliffe only information?

Does anyone know?

Why? I thought their anemometer was on the Redcliffe Jetty That must be a good spot?

I also see that annoyingly the readings are in kilometers per hour - boring!

I found the reading pretty good. Neally always correct excepting true south. Then drop a few knots.
Pm your Email Ian and I'll send that stat record we talked about.

i can only go off my own experience. yes if you sail out 500+ metres it's pumping but i find closer to the beach the wind is lighter than the graphs as it lifts up over the hill/cliff that runs along the eastern side.
