I have recently started windsurfing again after 20 years out of the sport.

I was hoping to get some comments on whether to use a waist or a seat harness?

I am sailing at Manly.

It depends on personal preference, what type of sailing you are interested in and body shape.

Generally the following applies:
- GPS sailing with cam sails and slalom boards: Seat harness
- Bump and jump with no cam sails and freewave boards : waist harness
- large sailor with larger waist: seat harness
- fit sailor with smaller waist: waist harness
