Hey all, I didn't get to meet any of you this time around, unfortunately... I passed by Shearwater & the Train on Thursday the 10th (anybody remember seeing a glittery gold-coloured vintage speedboat that stopped at Shearwater for a while? That was me)...also went down to Byron Bay the previous Sunday and saw a lone windsurfer with a 6.5 gaastra, having a nice sail across the bay. Looked like fun!
The offer of loaner gear was very much appreciated but I opted instead to take a surfboard out every day and attempt to beat myself to death with it - or that's what it probably looked like!
Cant wait to return; the Gold Coast rules!!!
