Start Sept 1, end Jan31, record your evidence via a suitable GPS unit (if it works on KA72 then it's fine) post your maps up here for evidence, photos videos even better!
Will set up a group on KA72 if the interest is there.

Time to get out from the sandbanks and gets some ocean adrenaline into you!

1. MOFFAT BEACH TO COTTON TREE (S/SE Winds)

2. MARCOOLA TO MOOLOOLABA (N/NE Winds)

3. COOLUM TO CASTAWAYS (S/SE Winds)

Would suggest proper safety such as PFD, Spare rope, Uni, and Personal Emergency Devices be carried on these trips!

What are the rules J? Sail until you drop, 1 hour ( that's sailing until I drop) most distance sailed in the hour, highest jump. Would be lots safer if we sail at the same time in the same location. Thanks for putting it out there J, much appreciated

Just quickest time to get from A-B in each location, pretty sure the fancy GPS KA72 program can give that result, if we get a few interested will set up comp on KA72.

Best shot is to hook up with other sailor/s on suitable days and leave a vehicle at end destination, and get there in one piece.

I'd suggest it's 15-25knt sort of days best suited, first day of blow is good before the swell and shore breaks get too big.

once your out deep it surprising how smooth the water is between swells 'sometimes'! :)
