Hey fellow Freeracers - Forecast is looking good for Sunday with a South Easterly forecast so we will be running a 1 hour Freerace at Lake Cootharaba on Sunday 10 December. Sign on 10:30am, first possible race start time of 11:30am. We encourage those that are attending to register on our club website at http://www.windwanderers.org.au/public/schedule/events/16321-freerace-round-2 . Event is FREE for club members, $20 for non club members. Nice display of horse tails clouds appearing in the sky around the Sunshine Coast, usually a very good sign of an approaching south east blow!

Remember to charge up your GPS, (club has a couple of spare GPS/s for those that want to give it a go but don't have one). Should be a great day, see you at the lake

Great day at the lake was fun to sail with my son who did his first Freerace (1/2hr division) and had some great runs with me to the other side of the lake and managed well in the challenging choppy conditions, got a bonus PB as well for the nautical mile! Fun to catch up and sail with others and enjoy a cold beer at sailing club afterwards and then be driven home.
