Looking to try out the F2 Sputnik 285 for the first time on Sunday, but as someone still fairly new to windsurfing with the winds predicted, where would be the flattest safest water to sail from. I will have my BIC Metal Rock as a back up. I am in Deception Bay.

BTW has anyone sailed at Deception Bay before? I was thinking about trying it as its only 300mt down the end of the road for me.
