Looking like some pressure but it's south west so far and looks to be predicted for the same for the next three days. Not sure what works here in a sw but will be doing a drive around for options.

QUOTE FROM FACEBOOK

"A PICTURE TELLS A THOUSAND WORDS.

We would like to stress the following message to the surf and Swim community.

If you see a helicopter conducting tight orbits (circles) with a siren sounding, there is a shark in your close proximity."

We cannot force you to leave the water.

Do not wait for authorities as notification of the events can often take time.

These shots were taken at flat rock today at 10:50 am Today.

This is one of two sharks we have been monitoring at Flat rock. Today, this animals behavior appeared to be extremely erratic and very fast moving.

This is not inline with the general behavior we have been seeing with other sharks in the area."

So be careful guys.

Hi Eric, great to see you getting back into the sport after over 20 years in the doldrums. Hanging with JP in the early days must have been pretty cool, he is one sailor I'd love to meet, I reckon he would be a lot of fun on the vodka / red bulls.

That is one awesome part of the world you guys live in. Thanks for the hospitality Gashed and for showing me around the sailing spots. Flat rock was a bit challenging for me with the big fish and off shore conditions but I'd love to try it in a SE or better still a NE.

I think I'll come for the national wave sailing comp this year just so I can have some fun in the North Easterly winds. I know you hate them as a wave sailor but I can see how good that spot will be for someone like me who lives to jump.

Sorry I missed you Swoosh, would have been good to catch up for a sail but I didn't get out a lot as it was primarily a family holiday. Hope to catch you at the Nats.
