Has anyone got and old ratty beaten up no good board with a powerbox I could steal out of it?

Also looking for a little guidance in replacing a cracked U.S box with a power box to use some more modern fins i can trust in an old speed board (having just snapped one clean off without hitting anything and as a result snapping an extension and masttrack ) kinda hoping not to have to mold my own box into the board ahah.
Cheers! - Scotty

As the board lady suggests only easier .
You wont need divinicell because the original foam will be hard enough .
Only need resin , glass and a can of expand foam from Bunnings $7.
use the expand foam to fill top of box , cut and fit .
Glue in box with fin for squareness.
Use expand foam to fill box , glass over .
Pm me.

Make sure the thickness of the board is more than the depth of the Tuttle box. It's going to be close.

Indeed it is.... I think it will be just thicker... But given I will be using fins less than 30cm (around 20-25cm) I think it will be okay, tail of the board is pretty solid, after replacing the mast track and seeing very high density foam as well as 4mm of glass for the deck, and the tail has some visible reinforcement.... I see no reason for it to catastrophically fail so long as my handy work is up to scratch

I think it will be more than fine , especially between the double stringers .
Just to make sure about depths, even a deep Tuttle box is deeper than a deep Tuttle fin head .
Chuck a ruler down the box and add 5 mm to the deepest part , compare to board . If it's under it will work.
Make a gap gauge from a cardboard sheet. to be sure. ( ruler depth +5 mm )
