Justin Lord will be at Wello with his trailer full of gear too try Saturday 12th July.
On demo will be Avanti free style, free ride & Gun race sails & Patrik slalom boards.
Justin is a top sailor & he wants to have a sail at Wello so it would be good for us all to sail with him & show our local spot off to him.
Forecast nots looking good but we are going to meet & have a look & rig his sails.
You don't have too buy any gear just show up.
I will be trying the Gun sails as they look good in the absence of Lofts.
Justin is on his way back from Green Island Nationals so his got some stories to tell about the nationals & his trip to Cairns from Sydney where he lives.
Having cake & coffee then will be rigging some gear so come along for a get together all welcome starts at 10am.
If we don't sail we can still check out his gear.

Hey Justin great that you are doing a demo day and thanks Glynn for arranging this. Pity though that you are passing straight by the Sunny Coast, would have been good if you had done a demo day here also. Maybe next time or there is always Sunday ??

Justin has to get back for his kid school he needs to leave today. You can come down Kel starts at 10am goes till about 2pm

The day was good some 20 people showed up the weather was great but no wind gave people a chance to look at gear & talk it was a great social day started off with morning tea then Justin rigged gear then did a talk followed by everyone checking out his gear asking questions it filled in a whole day.

Thanks for organising today Glynn - I enjoyed it. Also big thanks to Justin for stopping in on his way home. Was a good morning spent talking pros and cons of this and that, plus hearing Justin's talk and meeting some of the guys I've missed connecting with. Pity the wind didn't cooperate but was still a very pleasant morning.
Also enjoyed the coffee & cake - thanks to the ladies for organising.

Sorry I had to leave early but thanks Glynn for organising and Justin (including family) for taking the time to chat with show and tell on his gear and experiences. It's great to catch up with like minded people and talk about things. Wasn't windy but this allowed for a fantastic social gathering. Was great to see so many familiar faces.

Bring on the wind for Sunday ;)
