Conditions feel promising. Byron is blowing and forecast for ese 20-25knts in north.
Morton Bay is se. Only question, is cloud cover going to upset the thermal catalyst?
Still looks probable to me, I guess we'll see, at 11 till 3....

I looked at lunchtime. There was a few kites out, and a few wind-standers.
One guy was out, but grovelling.

Whatever.
Monday is a work day, time for lunch, no time for sailing.
The commetn was about the wind, not about the sailor.

Hey ken, you should check out flat rock in ballina. I think it's a much better spot then currumbin wind wise at least and for you I think it might be closer?

I plan on sailing there next time there is a decent southerly on a weekend. Maybe this long weekend, fingers crossed :D

I'd like to do that sometime. Looks like I'm heading north to work for a couple of weeks on Sunday. If it's promising on Saturday, I might have a look. It's probably twice as long to get to Flat Rock than Currumbin. I think it would be at least 45 mins to Flat Rock for me, I work at Tweed, so I often go down to Currumbin just for a look, but don't have time to rig, like today. I can also get there in about 10-15 mins on my half-days, so it's where i wind up mostly.
