So who's up for a crazy sail in the rain on Saturday rain shouldn't matter you are already wet so hands up????????

UNDER THE DOONA WITH THE MISS,S AND TOASTIES AND A HOT DRINK......OR SITTING AROUND A WET COLD CAR PARK AT WELLO WITH SOME CRAZY MATES
WAITING FOR WIND TO BLOW FOR A CHANCE TO HIT 40KN BEHIND THE BANK.....
I KNOW WHERE I WILL BE...

I just got totally blown off the water on a 5m. A 3m would be good have one at home but don't have small enough boom

Lucky bugger- I'm at home with a broken leg watching those one in a million conditions lining up at my local..

I've got a 3.3m + matching boom although its a lousy twitchy 90's model.

Interestingly about 12 windsurfers today and none kiters on whole GC.
Looks they don't or cant stand the rain at all.I am not surprised. I hardly could see the nose of my board in heavy rain , so how kiters could sail without seeing his kite ?

Saw one crazy kiter on sandbank just north of Wavebreak Island on Sat. Huge air/crash and alot of speed was had. No gear handy for me so I just listened/watched wind howling
