This goes out to all those lucky people who arnt stuck inside in front of a computer while the best day of SE wind and sun passes you by!!!!

Hope all you guys/gals who went sailing had a wicked time - i am 3 days away from delivering my last peice of uni for ever (well the forseeable future :)) and reeeeelaxing! Big 3 days/nights/days to go, but i missed today for the great good (or so i keep telling myself when the sound of the wind outside through the window becomes too unbearable) haha!

See you all soon - hopefully huey isnt too harsh and keeps the fans going next week!

have a good one!

Peace.

Yeah, it was awesome!

I have an exam at 8am on Thursday morning. Couldn't study when I saw the trees moving outside, so I went sailing!

Lucky I didn't windsurf when I was at uni or I would still be there.

I got out yesterday about 3.30. Looked like a squall was going to kill it but it passed through and the SE kept coming on strong. Have been land locked for way to long, which made the session all the more enjoyable.

The ramps between the barge and Green Island were great, had some of those awesome floating jumps you get sometimes when the conditions are just right.

Can't wait for the next big NE, that would have been the only way the day could have been better.

How do you get so much time on the water Vando, have you written a sailing clause into your contract? "If wind in excess of 20 knots then I may or may not be in the office."

I always tell the missus that windsurfing helps my colds, as against household chores that make them worse. The science is this. Things like mowing the lawn fill the nostrels and sinus cavities with dust and irritants while sailing clears the nasties by forcing salty water into the nasal passage and clearing everything out with the fresh salt air.

I have another one for Rum also, but that is another story, best told around a camp fire with a bottle close by.
