I went up there for a sail a couple of weeks ago. There was tonnes of blue jellies and a blue green algae sign at the launch spot. I was crook for about 5 days afterwards with headaches and a bit of nausea. I got stung 6 times not sure whether it was the jellies, blue green algae or just coincidence. Just letting you know

Have sailied beachies for years and years and blue green algae sign been therr the whole time. Only had an issue there one time with a staph infection.

Jellies are bastards.

It needs to be super strong for beachies to work and today looks goos.

I'll be up the coast though

I have never sailed at Beachmere. I'd like to try it.
Does the tide matter?
Do you launch at the end of Beachmere Rd?

The tide is a big factor, low tide you have a massive walk to launch. Normally go to Phillip street it's a great spot in the right conditions eg 25 plus and high tide is ideal.
