2:30pm 8 knots NE in harbour but somehow 15 to 20 at the airport ?

Hey, ive been following the wind today. Im looking at the ocean off maroochydore. Whitecap city. 15-20kts easily. Seabreeze reports were reading nothing while wind was actually rippin. Reports were a couple of hours wrong. Im hittin it.
