I got a 90 litre falcon of Sausage after busting my ribs trying to hold that 121 on the water at that last windy event. I had the hybrid, which went well that day but it is just so hard to keep planning through the gybes and sinks like a stone in the smallest lull.

PS: Why do you have a Kite related name on the windsurfing site?

That doesn't sound like a real raceboard precious.

Oh boy, I was a bit worried this morning with all of the cloud cover but the wind punched through this afternoon so hopefully it will be on for the racing tomorrow. Will be awesome to race in big conditions again, it's been way too long.

Looking like an awesome day for a slalom race. I will finally get to test my new 90 falcon. Can't wait... What better way to celebrate Australia Day. See you all there.

Fantastic day today, run like a military operation. Good to see El President Jenns, assume control wearing some fine hi-vis gear. The coordination between the boat crew and Jennsy made for a near perfect course.

Seriously windy day with a solid 20-30 knots piping through. Vando absolutely dominated in the conditions with 6 bullets! well done.

Great to see so many new faces, those conditions are definitely as challenging as it will get.

Well done Vando. Awesome sailing in testing conditions.

I throughly enjoyed myself, finished all 6 races and nailed about 70% of my gybes.

Lost it on one leg where I got bounced out of my footstraps in the chop. Amazingly I didn't calapult but completed a body drag and was able slow down enough to get back on the board. Great recovery but Clive passed me in the mean time.

I thought you were just showing off doing a body drag in the middle of a slalom race

Well done Vando, did it easy today

Sorry i missed today sounds like it was a good day. Since Leo & Simon were missing i opted to do freerace @ Cootharaba. Great training
Worth mentioning. Free Race is coming to Brisbane. The guys are trying to organise an event before the Bayside race. Hope it comes together & the wind cooperates. That would be an epic day.

Awesome day thanks Bayside and in particular Jensey for taking one for the team and sitting on the benches to coordinate. Also to the boat crew for braving the conditions and getting bumped around all afternoon, I hear there was a bit of a battle between the bilge pump and the ocean that I'm sure Dave is glad you won. Good to see the positive buoyancy you added wasn't needed Dave. Glad you could make it today.

Well done Vando on the whitewash. It wasn't for the lack of trying. I'll have to spend some time on the new board to tame it and get those big off's in check. That was a cracker you saw.

It would be good to see the free race event here, it's a pity the two events clashed today or they would have got a lot more participation.

Thanks All, We Had a great day driving the boat, Yep the water was coming over the sides faster than the poor bilge could handle.

Congrats Vando, I think we timed you at a 40+ second lead on one of the races.

I think the highlight of the day for me, was being overtaken by Bailey on a 3.5m?? sail. Congrats for braving those conditions Bailey.
