Magic, can't wait to turn up to an event and not have to organise anything.

I hope the wind is good on the day so we can have a marathon run, I have always thought the location would be perfect for that. If not the wide board action sounds like a blast.

Congratulations on getting your club up and running and on your first official event.

I left a note with immigration telling them not to let you in so you can't race past me again all this year.

I should be back a bit before the event of November. And if I still haven't got my work permit, I'll have a lot of time for sailing

I just put my sail numbers on the new race sail. It is a good feeling knowing we are going to be racing again this weekend. Hopefully there will be a bit of breeze around so we can have some really awesome drag racing.

swoosh foe some reason in a noertherly wynnum gets around 3 to 4 knots more than manly and 5 knots more than wello , launch just south of the wynnum creek entrance bot very good on dead low tide similar walk out as wello but on high tide great . Check out www.baysidesailboards.com.au/notice.html and click on google maps

And to help me out , as the race fee is $10, please try to have the correct amount.....don't want to tax my 'Secretary" brain too much working out the change.

Just a reminder to all that the event is on for Sunday. The forecast is holding steady and if the last few weeks are anything to go by we should see some very good conditions.

So dust off your cambered sail and your seat harness - we are going racing.

This year we are attempting to run a rookie fleet for those of you interested but not really confident about the whole racing thing. Please if you are interested then turn up a little early so that the race director can give you some pointers.

This is round one of the season so lets see if we can start where last year ended with a strong fleet having a ball.

See you on the water.
