Hi, Just wondering where you launch at Beachmere, and why is it better up there than say Manly? Is it because in that wind its straight onshore or another reason? Thanks

You park at Phillip st. It is a great spot when the wind is up, nice long runs great ramps & flat in between.

will an 8 m be sufficient??????

gonna be a tough call.

at this stage EC models have it forming near yeppoon sunday and heading SE towards NZ

gfs models have it forming near mackay and tracking south down the coast past brisbane.

if the gfs outcome occurs those in exposed areas might want to tie the house to the ground before going sailing.

the problem with the gfs forecast is it has it travelling from mackay to south of fraser in 24 hours which is most likely not possible.

be interesting to watch what happens.

oh well maybe next weekend. this ones gone and fallen apart but next weekend is now looking the goods. long way out but don't loose hope just yet.
