NSW Wavesailing Association (NSW WA) is proud to be hosting the 2013 National Wavesailing Titles in Gerroa. Event dates are February the 16th to the 23rd. Warren Holder will be contest director.

Pros will not compete on the first day, Saturday the 23rd while other divisions; Ladies, Juniors, Ams may be contested if conditions allow.

Hopefully, will all the work put into creating an accurate list of all past National titles winners and place getters, we will see many former competitors face off again!

The event website is nearly finished and more details will follow soon.

So, book time off from work and make sure you can get to the 2013 Titles event. Gerroa and the other locations; Windang and Shoalhaven Heads can really turn on some great conditions. Check out Jodi's pics, Whitecaps Photography, from 2011 to see for yourself.

Guys and girls, get on board and support the event, even if you are only recently getting out in the waves, enter the Ams division and get some great comp experience and you could be walking away as the national champ!

This is a great week, and as Tim said, Gerroa, Windang and Shoalhaven are AWESOME spots, and even without wind, there is plenty of surf and other family activities to keep everyone happy.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to get the Nationals happening this year Tim. See you there!

Was reliably informed today that while there are still tent sites available, there are no cabins left at the Gerroa Caravan Park for the last few days that the Nats are running (apparently there's a big wedding party in town that weekend!).
Consequently I'll be making inquiries over the next few days into renting a group house for the week of the event and a show of hands/expressions of interest would be greatly appreciated?
It promises to be a great week, at a top spot, and methinks it would be nice to do it in style

Best to give the cabins at Seven Mile beach park a miss anyway, they are hideously expensive for what you get. There are heaps of houses that are available for rent. Try to get something on Burke Pde.

Gerroa is easily one of the most fun spots on the east coast to sail if the swell manages to get in there, or you score the bommy. I plan on being there for sure.
