Anyone sailing lake keepit over the summer break ?

I'm heading up to Tamworth around NYE to see family. I was toying with the idea of packing a board and some sails. What's the wind like up there at that time of year?

Not sure, we are near dubbo the prevailing winds are westerley S/W, N/W, I am hoping to get out there after new year.
They do have a sailing club and even race trailer sailer's Anyone here sailed Keepit ?

I've never done it but there's a large multi class regatta on Lake Keepit during the winter, called "Keepit cool"

yeah they have a great little sailing club at keepit. take a big board. it's not really known for its consistent wind, but it a nice spot.

Just got Back from 3 days at lake Keepit, It is a good spot to teach I had 2 kids uphauling and tacking in a couple of hours.
You can drive your car and trailer to the waters edge during the day, The wind picked up in the late afternoon.
