At Melville on Friday March 4th.

Plastic base / extension around 10cm long. Left it on grass.

You owe Grumpy a beer at least - it's the universal currency for rewarding finders who go out of their way to return lost windsurfing gear.

PS - I have one of those Airbase bases sitting at the bottom of my spare/unused gear bucket. One of the best designed old school base ever IMO.
