Hi all,
For some reason(?) the beloved people at F2 put a power box in the rx 133 and I desperately need a weed fin for Lake Connewarre. Does anyone know of a powerbox(read, dinosaur) weed fin with a reasonable foil? Its for the 6.4/ 7.3 so it would need to be 36-40 cm I guess....
cheers tony

Choco weed fins come in powerbox, I have a 27 and 33. Not sure who has them over there.
JP also make a half reasonable weed fin that will suit.

mfc and choco both have a 40cm weedie available in "dinosaur" boxes.
mfc call theirs a weed burner and choco "weeed". Both very good fins.

Tony,

Jacques uses a 40cm Choco weed in his F2 XS L. Have a look at that, he's pretty happy with it.

Tony, Not sure how a 36-40 cm weed fin is going to go in the lake. At high tide the weed is only about 25-30 cm below the surface so a long fin will plough through the weed full time. I have a select 30 weed fin with detachable headbox. I think that I might have a powerbox head for it. Will have a look at home. You are welcome to borrow it if I do. Some one may even have a bigger select weedfin that you could fit the powerbox head to.
Cheers

I too have an F2 with powerbox (stoke 117) I have been currently running a 30 select free weedie, It is just OK with a 5.8 and just hasen't got enough lift to run properly with my 6.7, though it will still do over 30 knot runs, you just can't point as high or fast, that said I did have a 32 select weedie that I lost and that sunk to the bottom it was so so much better than the 30 as it had a lot larger surface area, wish I still had it, I also sail on a weed lake.
