Good video and a nice long walk at the end. Hope you had some hot drinks waiting in the van.

Wow that is a long walk and then having to get over a fence as well at the end.

very funny hearing a couple a swear words coming out when you were trying to water start.

Hope the weather improves when im there next month

That day actually was one of the warmer surfable days we've had this season. But still I guess this month is one of the coldest april's in years. Everybody is still using winter suits and boots. Some even use a cap and gloves. Temperatures should be around 12 to 15 degrees celcius by now but are stuck between 5 to 10 degrees.

The mudwalk this year isn't as bad as it looks. In previous years there was more mud near the dike. No that big a problem when starting the session but more so at the end. Picture a 3 hour speedsession in 6+ bft winds, then a 40 min walk back with a headwind! To find the last 200 m are in mud up to half way your knees.

But hey if you want high speeds you have to suffer a bit... shouldn't be as easy as those spots you Aussie guys have
