Just a heads up that the company I set up for KA72 will be winding up by the end of the financial year (30 June.)

What does this mean for the website?

Operationally, nothing at all. I will continue hosting and to some extent maintaining the website for the time being. Email addresses and domain names associated with the website will continue to function. No data will be lost, sold, deleted or transferred anywhere.

Payment facilities will be wound down, so those who have been paying subscriptions for the website will no longer be paying those subscriptions. Thanks very much for your support over the years. Anyone who was a Pro user as of today's date will continue to be one for the term of their original subscription, and maybe beyond that. I am beyond grateful for all your assistance over the years in helping cover the costs of running the site.

Freerace software and licenses will no longer be available via the site. If anyone is interested in or needs access to these things, feel free to reach out to me and I'll see what I can do.

Pay-for events will no longer be run, and for the immediate future, KA72 will not be running any events that require payment via the website. If you want to use ka72 software to process tracks for your events, you are welcome to continue doing so.

If a club or organisation wants a custom setup for an event or a custom group, contact me for a quote on doing this. These activities will now be done outside the company structure. Luckily I know a software dev who doesn't mind doing some work on the side if it helps pay the bills.

Seriously Dylan you deserve a medal or something for doing what you have done for so long for SFA, even more so that you're not even a windsurfer this hobby and skill of yours has been an amazing community service for so long.
The amount of crap that you would have had to digest over the years would drive most insane , you have thick skin thats for sure !
