Ta, thanx buddy, always nice to be recognised when you put in a big one. I knew I had a good one, just had the power on virtually the whole way, just a few minor very short lulls, when I saw the 32.872 on realspeed I hooted and hollered, with my 10yo covering her ears, and asking me not to yell, I was hoping for a 31 plus, so the 32.8 was a bonus!! The conditions were superb, and I reckon the equipment that made the difference was probably the Gaastra Vapour, just handled both the lulls and gusts perfectly.

Maaate........ It was so tempting to give up when some of those gusts hit........ but I just wanted it badly enough to endure the burning or should I say the melting of my back leg, and the will to shut off the fear factor......

Thats allright mate no hard feelings.
I like guys who push it hard at the end you always get a good result,it will be good to see next time when it blows that you crack a 34 or 35kts NM i know you have it in ja.

My first go at the NM that day I hit a big chop about a 1/3 of the way through and jumped out of the harness lines and had to hang on in the strongest gusts of the day out of the harness, and in the end I couldn't hang on with about 400m to go, and had to let go. My display peak on that run was 37.49, whereas my display peak on the record run was 35.19 so who knows would have at least been a 33??? It's a bit like the big fish that got away it was gonna be this [.............] big!!!!!!!
