In the GW-60 Quick Start User Guide is a section on downloading to computers other than Windows. I too use a Mac, but I run XP in emulation on it for downloading. I just find that works for me better and I can run the Windose version of GPS-Results which has more features. Anyhow, from memory.... no wait.... That is far too unreliable.

This is the bit from the Quick start user guide:
go to settings on the watch screen menu, then
3.13 USB CLASS: Connection type COM: Virtual COM PORT for Windows platform user. UMS: USB Mass Storage for non-Windows platform user. (Note: Set UMS before entering "MSC mode"on 3.14)Someone who does this regularly will chime in and add more user friendly detail, I am sure.

GPSAR-Pro:
The only thing I can think of is to make sure you are selecting the SBP file type to open in the GPSAR menu, and then make sure you are trying to open the correct file from your saved folder.
Oh, I just remembered. Before you can open the file that download to your Mac, you must go to File > Get info and then untick the little box that says locked in the info window.
This is just a strange quirk. Dont know why.....
