My question is, how does it gybe?
The board I made like that is horrible to gybe, but I started the cutouts a lot further forward, I keep meaning to bring the cutouts back to the front foot strap and see if that improves things.
mike I haven't ridden the board, Arky has and he thought the board would be a handful in chop but was a bit surprised , as far as alex goes I cant get the board off him

, I think he did say he could feel the outer rail catching going to windward but he was really pushing it , the wake looks nice and narrow and clean so should be great in really flat stuff
sanctuary point isn't the best place to test a flat narrow board because 95%of the time your sailing good size chop with a really short spat in the weeds , its a credit to Alex because he looks so much in control and is also getting some huge air time

the answer to your

is this board is really chunky in the mast track area ,so the board is flattening out and has floatation at the wide section of the cutout in the jibe , ill get muddskipper to give it a test run tomorrow , that's if he can get it off Alex
