Ublox have announced a next generation M9 GNSS chipset.

Summery: Tracks 4 GNSS systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou) concurrently at up to 25Hz (UBX PVT).
Velocity accuracy better than 0.01 Knots. (0.05M/sec)

Compared with M8 which can do 2 GNSS at 10Hz. (The Motion uses this chipset)

It will be interesting to see what consumer devices are the first to use this chipset and how long it takes to get into those devices.

I'll switch when possible, 2021 probably.

M8 is 3-GNSS at 10Hz and also 0.05m/s velocity accuracy, no change there as expected.

Current gen of Android 10 phones already track 4 GNSS systems and output speed error estimates.

Any updates Roo? Have you found a way to record that data yet?

No trouble recording the data, just need a program to analyse it. Manfred seems too busy to do it at the moment. Not a problem.
