Two silver bullets - very impressive.

the boards look great martin, i like the flat tops should be able to get the sail down a tad lower, wots the volume of both boards and can you show us the bottom or is that a secret

The slalom board is 63.4 litres measured on CAD. Bottom shape is Double concave V into Flat panel V, the concave finishing around 600 from the tail. It,s 235X68.5, so pretty low volume for it,s width, very thin in the nose. The volume is positioned from the mast track to midway between the straps so it will be quite "floaty"still. It should carry an 8.0 metre no probs.
The speed board is 62.1 litres measured on CAD. Bottom shape is flat panel V right through, no concave and has a reasonable amount of V for such a narrow board. It,s 237X43. The deck is concave in the middle to get the sail nice and low, close the gap. It,s a true speed board designed for Sandy Point.
Once Iv,e tested them I will make any "tweaks" I feel neccessary and then Peter Ross will have the final CAD files. When he gets back to Maui he will be able to reproduce the boards using the CNC facility he has access to there for anybody that is interested. I,ll sort out a nicer graphic for them as well , just ran out of time.
I am also doing a 90 and 125 litre slalom board. Really having some fun with this and I am confident that they will work really well. The B&J board I designed last year and had Mark Stone build is working really great and sails just like I expected which is nice, so pretty happy so far...
