Just got a phone call from Kato. A few of the Pit crew went down to the PiT even though the tides are all wrong. They had some early runs in the low 40's but conditions were not epic. They are hanging around for the afternoon to try again as the tide drops but with high tide at about 2pm there may not be much happening until the last couple of hours of daylight. A few squalls continue to come through so if they last until late in the day they might get a short window of something worthwhile. At least we will be on the board for this month.

Hey Andrew, Just got back, had kids to pick up from school. I just managed to scrape in a 40 5x10 and a couple of peaks over 42 but doppler dropped them back a bit. Was marginal at first but got OK around 11.00 . I was buggered by then though as it was bloody cold and I,m not used to getting up at 4.00.
Spotty had some 44 peaks and Tony some 43's.
