It's not Morten Bay, the Mandurah Estuary, the Swan River or hell even the Pit, but it's a nice warm sunny winters day in FNQ. Leave your wetsuits at home

How long does the flat water stretch for?

measuring the run on google earth you could probably get about 700m if you are prepared to do a bit of bombie dodging. i'd say the main run is around 500m long.

in the first photo you see cam (dad) going wide of the main run which is just next to the reef on the super flat stuff.

Righto Firie, that tears it. After sitting through Sydney's cold and miserable winter that is just too sweet to miss out on.
Looks like another week or so of long service is going to be sacrificed next winter
