Suunto movescount help

Hi there, need some help, I have a Suunto ambit 3 watch and have no idea how to upload my files to KA72, can anyone help?

I don't think the files are accepted from that device

I have not had personal experience with that watch, but I believe you can use the app (Movescount?) to download the files from it to a computer and then you can upload the file to KA72.

Oh, perhaps you have already downloaded from the watch and are asking how to upload to KA72? Go to the upload link on the page where you can select your file from your computer files. The rest should be automatic.

Thanks for that, I think I have it figured out. I can export the files from movescount to computer then upload to KA72. They are fit files and seem to work.

Try the Suunto App. I thought that the Movescount app was being phased out.

Yeah they are in about 6 months so can still use till then. I have since worked out how to export the files from the website instead of the app, it gives you a choice of file types to use. I have found GPX is the easier and more accurate.

If the Suunto functions like a usb mass storage device when connected to a computer, you don't need an app of any kind. Just use the file manager to transfer the files directly from the watch to the computer and go from there. My gps cameras and watches all do this.
