Just received my Suunto 9 baro, very excited and yes, i know it is not accepted by gpstc and gps speedsailing, but it was EOFY sale and i needed to upgrade my old Garmin eTrex, which still works btw.
Anyone else using it? I created a new sports mode called windsurfing, displaying duration, distance, max speed and speed - the last one I probably wont use much, not comfortable looking at the watch while flat taps. So what settings do you use - what fields and also can you set the speed to knots? Any other setup/use tips?

I've got the same data set up like you, and yes you cant really check the current speed unless you are sailing at somewhere like lake George And it appears you can only set to KM/H or MP/H unfortunately

I just use the pre programmed windsurf setting, in the Suunto app it will show knots
if anyone wants one I'm selling one in Canada.

Just realized you can show knots in custom settings as well
