In a sport dominated by males it's always fantastic to see ladies out on the water giving windsurfing a go.
The WA based Speed Divas have been notching up plenty of GPS water time and have also just returned from a trip to West Australia's Mecca of wave sailing.

The Speed Divas efforts in promoting the joy and associated benefits of the sport while proving that women CAN get out there and be part of it is awesome.

Hats off to the gals and we hope to see plenty more of them out on the wide blue this season.

Thanks for your support Windwarrior.
The GPS speed comp has been great for us. We have known each other for a while as we regularly sail the same spots but the comp has given us a reason to get together and encourage each other to have a go and push it a little bit harder. We may not be up near the top of the ladder but our general sailing and times have improved, we have sailed much more often than we normally would in winter and best of all we have had fun. We have also really appreciated the support and friendship of other GPS crew who have offered advice, cheered us on, shared their sailing spots with us and even let us have a go on some proper speed equipment to see what we can do. It's a blast

Here are a couple more shots of the WindWarrior Speed Diva's in their new Blastshield tops at Gnaraloo - no wind so we had to drink beer and pose with "Luff Daddy" (Whippet John). Thanks again to WindWarrior for their support and to Reg at WSP for organising another great Gnaraloo trip!
