Hey Guys and Gals,

Those of you that ordered/expressed an interest in the Tees have probably got an email by now, and we'd really appreciate if you could follow through. Those of you that haven't and can afford it please order/buy a T-Shirt, we need the support.

I really hate spruiking for money from people it's very embarrassing for someone like me, however the GTC doesn't run itself, we don't ask for registration fees etc, but it does cost us money, and there is a small donation inbedded in the cost of the T-Shirt. So while $35 might seem expensive to some of you, remember it's an original design, they are v.good quality and should last, and it supports the ongoing running of the GTC.

The money will be used to cover running costs, reimburse some out of pocket expenses, buy better medals and trophies, and award more categories. The more involvement and support we get the more sponsors want to get on, and the more prizes for you guys which are predominantly drawn at random, so you have a chance of winning for just being a part of it and posting sessions.. People were throwing prizes at me earlier this year and we had to say no, to honour existing sponsors.

Enough from me........keep enjoying our beautiful sport

Many thanks to those that have ordered shirts -- I sent the first batch off Thursday, another off Friday and if I can find a post office that's open I'll send off some more today.

At this stage I'm giving preference to those that have pre-ordered shirts. This is because there are some people who might not have been watching their email, and I want to make sure that those who have done the right thing by us get what they want.

I'll open up the order form to the general public shortly, but at the moment you can only get one if you've already told me what you want.

In terms of finances, we're about to break even on the shirts, after that the money will be repaying Hardie for the amount he spent on medals last year, and after that the funds will go into the coffers for this year's medals.

I've had very good feedback so far which is a credit to the hard work done by Sick_em_Rex and the wonderful people at The Marketing Factor
http://www.themarketingfactor.com.au/ . Thanks must also go out to Laurie at Seabreeze for generously allowing us to spruik our goods on his (mostly) non-commercial forum. Thanks guys

I got mine yesterday.
As Steve said, the shirts look like good quality (50+ UPF), and sizing was just as expected (ie "normal" - most of my T-shirts are "M"; I ordered an "M", and it fits perfectly) .
I am most impressed with how easy it was to order, how well the order form etc was set up, and gobsmacked how quickly the shirts turned up in the post. Thank you Nebs!
Cheers, Rindwider (aka Windrider)

Glad your happy, I think Nebbs and SickemRex deserve the biggest praise though, and Nebbs tells me the pick-up rate on the Tees has been huge, so a BIG THANKYOU to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool

I'm glad that people are happy with the shirts, it's been a real learning experience for me, and has benefited the cause immensely. Now we've got no excuse for skimping on medals this year

We've sold out of XL (seems to be a common size for windsurfers) but still have a couple left in other sizes. If you want one, then PM me on here or send a message through the GPS Team Challenge contact page
http://gpsteamchallenge.com.au/contact.php .
