I can see still untapped potential for many spots here.Let's look for example on Shearwater. Guys doing 37 knots, no problem few km away but here only 32.Wind the strongest on Gold Coast, water could be quite flat when the tide is right.I am sure one-day invasion by record seekers could increase this spot max to 37-38 knots. Guys sailing Wello in much worse chop do phenomenal speeds. So maybe one day, it could become our next competition/ challenge - to find the spot and get their own max record ownership, till somebody else come and beat you.

Can you see potential to do 38 knots here ( up from 32 now)?

Click on the location in the Kingdoms page and you you go to the stats page. Note you can put any location into the stats page URL if you are a L33T hax0r too ;)


Once there you will find some useful stats, such as what divisions the location is good for (and bad for) and when is a good time to go there.

Patience, grasshopper. (Though having said that, I'm pretty sure every grasshopper that was alive when I started working on this site is now dead and gone.)

By the way, the top speeds have been added to the page this morning. They let you sort/filter by year/division too. Limited to what has been uploaded to the site but anyone can upload old tracks any time (even anonymously.)

agree, that will be a good if sailor submitting the file to KA72 could delete wrongly posted files. Alternatively, if there is any other way to filter off files that mostly include driving on the road.

Under each Overlay is a link to Report a track issue. You need to be logged in to see it. It gets a lot of use as the year draws to a close because of the Score stuff, but I will review each and every track that gets reported here.

Just click here...



And a little form will pop out where you can supply the info I need.


Then I will (eventually) let you know what happens with the track.
