Current 2 sec PB is about 32 knots. I'd like get to 35 knots this year. I'm heading to Lake George SA with hopefully a smaller slalom board to give it a shot.
Been stuck on 31's for a while now so would like to break that hoodoo and then move up and hit 35. Also want to get the 20kn Hr happening. Do I ask for too much....

You just need some flat water Toby! Peli Point is not ideal for speed or hours.
I'd be happy to break the 40knt wall. I have knocked on it twice with 39.02knt and again at 39.64knt peak and then a 40 5x10 would be nice. I'm not holding my breath
I seem to be improving by 3 knots per year: 24, 27, 30 and now 32.5, so I guess I should aim for 35! 35 seems to be the new 30 in that it takes a bit of a technique breakthrough to get there.
My immediate aim is for a lovely smooth fully planing gybe.
2 sec target? I guess if I want a 35 average, I should aim for 36+ Got to update my gear this year, soon as I find that magical job (or win the Lotto) :)
Just got over 30kts so aiming for 33kts - 35 would be good but..to catch or beat Windxtasy . I can hope..
also a 20Alpha - I've got 19.6 and I know I've done faster gybes - just too wide to count..Also start to get technical and aim for a few things when sailing -an hour etc.. I just go and sail and try to go fast at the moment.
Cripes Needsalt I don't know how people get 100kms..I never seem to get over 40.. Must be fit!
I've tried but when I do I end up around 60kms and am stuffed. The longest I've sailed is about 80kms in a day. This was at Canton Beach in fairly strong winds and I didn't really try to sail the distance, I was just having fun and taking fairly big breaks during the day videoing and photographing the other sailors out there.
